The Pilafs headed to the Southtowns recently to enjoy all that Main Street in East Aurora has to offer. We began by searching for a few unique, you-can-only-find-it-at-Vidler’s gifts, and although JT could not find his Natural Ice lip balm and Dra could not find the perfect Dorothy coffee mug, we were both pleased with the rows and rows of fun. Vidler’s 5 & 10 has rooms of memories, treats, games and other things that help you realize you really need to redecorate your yard or home.
Just across Main Street, Rick’s in East Aurora is a place in WNY where you can enjoy a lovely summer afternoon lunch with a comfortable outdoor patio and a touch of class.
Both Pilaf meals were awarded a Home Run as Dra enjoyed the Blackened Chicken Salad and JT raved about the Blackened Haddock Sandwich. Thank you to the staff who were knowledgeable and kind regarding Dra’s GF dietary needs.
If you happen to visit the area during colder or wetter weather, Rick’s on Main has an inviting bar and a wonderful dining area that includes a nice wine menu as well.
42 North Brewing for Craft Beer
East Aurora is really growing! There are several great shops on Main Street, especially the cute boutique on the corner of Main and Pine. Bar-Bill Tavern for Wings
Being a HUGE wing fan, JT and friends have given a Home Run to Bar-bill for their wings! People love this spot in East Aurora, especially for the Buffalo classics. If you are gluten-free, however, the menu is very limited. Although yummy, Dra could only order one thing on the menu. Here are some photos for you to browse through.
